RETURN POLICY

 
 

Buy too much, get the wrong size, have a problem or just a change of heart? Emigh Ace Hardware makes returns easy. We accept returns purchased at our location within one year from the original purchase date (some exceptions apply*).

 

Can’t find your receipt? If you present the method of payment or the Ace Rewards number used, we should be able to look up the transaction. If the transaction cannot be found, Emigh, at its discretion, may issue an Ace Hardware Merchandise Return card based on the lowest selling price in the last 90 days. Refunds without a receipt require a valid driver’s license. For purchases made by a non-electronic check, refunds within seven days will be issued as an Ace Hardware Merchandise Return card.

 

Return policy exceptions:

  1. Outdoor power equipment, generators, air conditioners, evaporative coolers, grills, and smokers must be returned in “like new” condition with proof of purchase within 30 days. Items that have been used, if accepted for return, may be assessed a restocking fee.

  2.  Custom tinted paint and custom cut goods (screen, chain, rope, glass, etc.) cannot be returned.

  3. Trees, shrubs, and perennials are guaranteed for one year. Other live goods cannot be returned.

 

Holiday items must be returned on or before the day of the holiday (e.g. Christmas). Items purchased after the holiday are final sales, and no returns will be accepted.

 

Can I get a replacement receipt?

Yes. Simply contact the store where you made your purchase.
